Posted by6 months ago. Archived. Ender 3 Pro SKR Mini E3 1.2 Sensorless Homing Issue. So I got sensorless homing all wired up last night as I can't currently reach my limit switches with my custom direct drive setup I just installed with an EZR Extruder.

I'm going to have another attempt at getting Sensorless Homing working on Marlin version 2.0.5.1 using Bigtreetech TMC2209 stepper drivers on a SOVOL-SV01

Furthermore with the cable  9 Jun 2020 Having fried the old MKS Sbase that was in the X5S I grabbed a BTT SKR 1.4 to replace it. Interestingly enough it's the same chip as the SBase  I got it working both sensorless homing and probing with SKR pro v1.1 and TMC 2209 v1.2. I am testing sensorless homing which I have working on all 3 axis. The Z axis needs a little lubricant, you can hear it squeaking in the vid. I don‘t think it is the SKRs fault, since sensorless homing works just fine using the Bigtreetech TMC2209.

Sensorless homing works fine. 800 mah for XYZ and sensitivity set M914 X2 Y4. Also TMC2209 with sensorless homing.

Sensorless homing is not currently as accurate as mechanical end stops. All the pre-compiled firmware has this disabled so you will need to bend the pins out of the way. Bend this pin on each driver to allow mechanical switches to be used on the SKR board.

With the LR2, there are a couple things to watch out for before you ruin your CNC, as it’s not designed for sensorless homing (or homing in general) The firmware is already configured for Sensorless Homing, the only thing you need to do is make sure to run a jumper wire, one for the X axis and one for the Y axis from the DIAG pin to PC0 (for X) or PC1 (for Y) as shown in this diagram. The default sensitivity is set to 5, but you can set this on your printer with the LCD menu. Some TMC stepper drivers can detect when they bump into something that causes them to stop moving. This feature is so sensitive that it can actually take the place of traditional endstops. Use this command to set the bump sensitivity for the X, Y, and Z stepper drivers.

Marlin 2.x Bugfix SKR Pro TMC2209 Sensorless Homing geht nicht mit 256 Steps. Hallo zusammen. Ich habe nach meinem Umbau eines Tronxy X5SA Pro sensorless Homing zum laufen gebracht. Nun da ich ja nicht für umsonst TMC2209 gekauft habe wollte ich jetzt in X und Y 256 Steps fahren. Nun zum Problem.

The SKR v1.4 does not have a way of disabling the diag pin.

Hi, I thought I would post about upgrades to my FT-6 with an SKR PRO, TMC 2209 w/sensorless homing, BL Touch and some woes with Borosilicate glass. This is a little scattered and I’m not going to correct spelling too much, this isn’t a journal paper lol and I think people would rather have the info than a LaTeX report with proper references.
